Big days like Easter actually drives this preacher nuts! Here are some random thoughts about today:
- What am I going to preach
- what should I wear
- I wonder how many will show up
- I want the service to rock out
- how many visitors will we have
- I need to preach something cool
- have the people been inviting their friends and family
- Is all the volunteers ready
- will the visitors feel welcome
- uhg!!! Have I done everything I can do
- I hope this sermon works out ok
- is there going to be a big crowd or not
- I think I am going to be sick
My mind has raced for weeks concerning today with things that matter on one hand but on the other they don't. Today we as Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ our savior. We go further in strategic planning to share this message of sacrificial Love to all and pray they will receive him and many will!
So at the end of the day the only thing that matters is not all of our programs, our songs, and fancy sermons... what really matters is will Jesus be lifted up because if he is.... he will draw all men unto him!
My staff, our church, and I have prayed for salvation to come to our house and today we expect it will!
I thank God I found Jesus... are you?
where are the pictures from the Carnival? the ones showing an air view of the parking lot in particular?
